A European Fintech technology product firm is recruiting a Regional QA Manager/APAC based in Ho Chi Minh city, reporting to Head of Professional Services APAC. This senior role is to ensure high standards of quality deliverables achieved through efficient preventive and corrective quality assurance activities in development projects. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Planning, scheduling, coordinating, and overall quality assurance for software services and products.
  • Develop and drive test strategy/plan with the client, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy
  • Artefact ownership including development of checklists, guidelines, tracking procedures and training of these to direct and wider team
  • Assign tasks to and monitor performance of assigned Test Team(s)
  • Participate and prepare reports for SIT/UAT daily/weekly meetings with the clients
  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans to ensure software requirements are met.
  • Development Test checklist implementation and monitoring
  • Coordinates Test strategy and Plan with Project Managers and delivery leads
  • Provide periodic reporting on quality issues with APAC clients against the SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Review and resolves software quality control problems/concerns with APAC clients
  • Produce and maintain quality assurance templates and checklists and tools
  • Determining, negotiating and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications
  • Help to define “fit for purpose” quality goals at agreement level. (Defining contract level what to avoid)
  • Review Test and development plans, Test Reports, Test Estimates and other QA artefacts to ensure good quality
  • Periodically inspects completed quality control checklists, forms and other documents for conformance to prescribed Standards
  • Setup and maintain CSS databases for new workstreams with support from IT
  • Provide support to production support team as and when needed

Requirements:

  • Excellent experience with Quality Assurance methodology, procedures, agreements etc
  • Experience with diverse Software Development Lifecycles
  • Exposure to software environment for Wealth Management, Insurance or Financial Services
  • Excellent communication skills (fluency in written and spoken English), strong influencer and highly collaborative approach to work
  • Team development and grooming
  • Test Planning and monitoring
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
