A Singapore technology company is hiring a Presales Engineer to base in Hanoi city. You will join the team to provide world-class presales consulting to large enterprise clients. To succeed in this job, you will need strong exposure to IT system engineering(DC infrastructure, networking, servers, storage...), solutions consulting and good command of English skills.
Job responsibilities:
- Work with the sales team to gather requirements and propose the services, products and solution;
- Design complete infrastructure architecture including servers, storage, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery (DR), and SAN network;
- Deliver solution presentations and conduct demos or PoCs at customer sites;
- Prepare technical documents for bidding: Bill of Materials (BoM), system diagrams, configuration tables, and solution descriptions;
- Act as the technical lead during the handover to the deployment team after contract signing;
- Support internal training and consult on system upgrades or expansions for existing customers;
- Provide onsite support to customers for troubleshooting and issue resolution
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experiences as Post & Presales engineer
- Practical experience with the following product lines: Dell PowerEdge, PowerMax, Unity; IBM Power, IBM FlashSystem / V7K / DS series; Vitalization product and software: VMware, Redhat…
- Solid knowledge of system architecture, SAN/NAS, RAID, operating systems (Linux, Windows Server), and virtualization (VMware)
- Preferred certifications: Dell EMC Proven Professional, IBM Certified Specialist, VMware VCP
- Strong skills in communication, presentation, and technical documentation
- Ability to work independently, proactively handle issues, and collaborate effectively in teams
- English proficiency in both writing and speaking
