A global consumer electronics company from Europe is recruiting a Senior Product Marketing in Ho Chi Minh city to develop business plan and product strategy. The role requires good experience in product management for home appliance products. This is reporting to Head of Product and Marketing.


Responsibilities:

  • Report to Head of Marketing & Product, dotted line report to Country Director, and functionally report to Regional Product Management – APAC; 
  • Development of product strategy for the product category and aligning Country based product plans with Regional and Global strategy; 
  • Definition of line up, pricing and product life cycle management 
  • Preparing value chains by customers and submitting to upper management for approval; controlling actual results vs approved ones 
    Initiating new product requests based on a consumer-centric approach. Preparing long and mid—term strategies for the product groups in charge 
  • Fully in charge of product localization and compliance with local regulations 
  • Leading local approval process (together with Supply chain dept); 
  • Collecting product failures/defect feedbacks from the market and initiates immediate recovery plans with the related subsidiary and regional departments 
  • Actively supporting Sales in NPI process, takes part in monthly/quarterly meetings with key accounts Initiating sales & marketing activities to support product launch, product phase out, sales increase.
  • Collection and distribution of all kind of product information to internal and external customers, web sites and catalogs 
  • Quantitative and qualitative analyses of market trends, competitor analysis and benchmarking 
  • Managing inventory through sales forecasting, inventory analysis and sell in and sell out analysis 
  • Active support of customers and sales department including actively engaging in the sales process as well as in the global product planning process. 
  • Analysis and report of the market and competition, collect and distribute all required product information. 
  • Responsibility for achieving the product categories commercial targets, GP level and inventory related KPI's.

Requirements:

  • Good experience in product management of home appliances or a kitchen related industry is mandatory. Experience in MDA market is highly preferred. 
  • Bachelor or masters degree in business or marketing.
  • Strong English skills.
  • Strong analytical skills. Strong communication skills.
